Multi-Media Bingo Challenge
1. A pair.
“This is what you got me?” Chloe asked holding up the item.
“Yeah,” Jimmy said with a nod.
“Really. A pair socks, for my birthday,” Chloe said, shocked.
When Jimmy nodded again Chloe scoffed and put the present down before leaving for the balcony. Leaning against it she couldn’t help but feel upset that the guy who was supposed to be the love of her life had thought that the thing she wanted to most was a pair of socks. A pair of socks!
Sighing she tossed the socks over the balcony and took two deep breaths. Turning to head back inside she was surprised when she saw Oliver try to suppress his laughter.
“Did you really just throw a pair of socks over the balcony?” Oliver asked.
“Yes but what else am I supposed to do. What do you do when your ex-husband slash kind of friend gets you socks? Nobody buys socks for a birthday present!”
“Then you better not open mine.”
Smacking Oliver on the arm she turned and headed back inside. Sometimes she didn’t understand men.
2. Villain
Glaring at Lex across the crowded room her eyes narrowed. She didn’t know what he was doing there, or even why he had decided to show up now but she knew it couldn’t be good. Nothing good ever followed Lex around, it was like he was a bad form of biblical plague. Destruction to all things human whether they were animal, mineral or vegetable was generally imminent.
Crossing the room she found her date, grabbed his arm and pulled him outside more than ready to have an emergency meeting to figure out exactly what Lex wanted. When they got outside though Oliver’s lips where just too demanding to be ignored.
3. Green
The green dress she had chosen was perfect. It had one strap which seemed to be held together with a pin, almost falling off her shoulder. It gathered in at her hips, highlighting them for his mind and all he could think of was to grab hold of those hips and drive into her against the wall. Of course he knew that he couldn’t, they had to get to the charity event. But when he looked down at the hem, the tiny hem that barely touched her mid-thighs, he knew only one thing.
He was a goner for this girl, whether she was in the dress or not.
4. Hair
“You know if you put green dye in your hair you could be Green Arrow from head to toe,” Chloe called out.
“That’s ridiculous.”
“Actually it’s not,” Chloe snorted, “Who wants to think that the Green Arrow could have blond hair when he has the ability to go out and dye his hair green.”
“It’s not fair,” Oliver replied, “What would I say to the board or the press. I can’t just go gallivanting around with green hair.”
“Well it’s not like the Green Arrow’s going to get lucky any time soon.”
“What?!”
“That’s right, until there’s green up there the bandit’s not getting any action.”
5. Your Choice
Watching as Oliver stirred from his sleep Chloe reached forward and ran a hand through his hair, hoping to wake him faster.
“Chloe,” Oliver whispered, his eyes fluttering between opened and closed, “What happened?”
“I’m so sorry,” she whispered, “I didn’t know I could do that.”
“Do what?’ Oliver asked as he slowly sat up.
“Throw you against a wall.”
“A wall. There’s no wall near where we were standing.”
“I know,” Chloe whispered, “I kind of flung you across the room, with one hand.”
“Oh, why?”
“I’m not sure. I just know... I need your help. I need to make it stop. I’m not sure who I am anymore or how I do half the things I do and I need you to help me stop it.”
Nodding Oliver replied, “Of course. After a few hours sleep.”
6. Repeat
It was days like this that Chloe dreaded the most, the ones that seemed to repeat over and over again when she knew that they weren’t. Clark showed up, demanded answers to some problem that she had to have known about. Oliver showed up, three times. Once with coffee, twice to take her to lunch and thrice to bring her dinner, saying every time that he just needed to get out of the office. The team patched through how their missions were going and Mia checked in from boarding school.
Then she went home, rinsed, dressed and got into her car ready to repeat.
7. Cold
“I’m sick.”
“Great. I guess this means you’re not coming to get me?”
“No, cause I’m sick.” Chloe complained, wondering why Lois didn’t get that.
“But you should still be able to come and get me.”
Opening her mouth to answer Chloe was surprised when Oliver snatched the phone out of her hand and said, “No she’s not coming to get you. She’s sick. Now I’m trying to help her get better so either find some way to help too or go away.”
Hanging up the phone he kissed Chloe on the forehead he said, “Is there anything else I can do.”
Shaking her head Chloe smiled and said, “That’s more than enough my knight in green leather.”
8. I love you like I love pancakes
“I love you like I love pancakes!” Clark declared.
Raising her head Chloe looked at Clark confused. They’d just been enjoying a home cooked meal at the Kent farm when he’d started on his ramblings.
Turning to him she asked, “How do you mean?”
“You’re great on occasion. You’re everything that someone, like me, could want for a moment or two. That our relationship couldn’t progress further cause I only like to have you at certain parts of the day.”
“Well you sure know how to make a girl feel special.” Chloe scoffed.
“I wasn’t finished. Now there’s Oliver, who loves pancakes at all hours of the day. He could have them anytime and at any places. He isn’t as limited in his love for them as I am.” Standing he wrapped an arm around Chloe, “That doesn’t mean I love you any less. It just means that there’s someone better suited for you.”
“I know but I’m glad you know it too.”
9. Smarter than
“You’re smarter than Clark?”
“Yes”
“Smarter than AC?”
“Without doubt.”
“Smarter than Bart?”
“If you have to ask that one I’m worried about how smart you are.” Chloe replied.
“Well are you smarter than Dinah?” Oliver asked.
“Naturally, the only thing that girl knows how to do is yell and fight.”
“Are you smarter than Victor?”
“When it comes to most things, however if it’s about computers he wins ‘cause of the whole Cyborg thing.”
“Ah, well what about me. Are you smarter than me?”
“Maybe, though I think you made a very smart decision choosing me.” Chloe replied, wrapping her arms around him and giving him a sweet little kiss.
